It’s that time of the year again to give back to the community and earn some good karma. Following the incredible success of last year’s fundraiser for *The Royal Children’s Hospital* through the *Good Friday Appeal,* *The Melbourne Locals* , in association with *The Friends of the Children Foundation* , are proud to once again support this meaningful cause.
It was a beautiful day bringing our community together for a truly meaningful cause — supporting children and families who need it most. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated, and showed their support.
Held in association with Friends of the Children Foundation in May 2025, this tournament was a tremendous success — bringing together approximately 200 participants across all categories in support of The Royal Children’s Hospital.
In association with The Friends of the Children Foundation, The Melbourne Locals proudly hosted a highly successful fundraiser for the Good Friday Appeal 2025 in support of The Royal Children’s Hospital. The event took place in Footscray, Victoria, on the 18th of April 2025 and was graced by special guest Mr. Pradeep Tiwari, Mayor of the City of Maribyrnong, who presented certificates of appreciation to all the dedicated volunteers.
On 13 June 2025, The Melbourne Locals hosted a special Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to recognise and celebrate the dedicated individuals who have contributed their time and effort to support various community events throughout the year.
